I don't know about you, but one of my favorite things is to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with my family. When I think of home it is often the visual that comes to mind. We didn't always stay in, it was a special treat to get to go see a movie in theatres: something I tried to do as much as possible this summer while the blockbuster season was in full swing.
If you have been scrolling through your news feed or surfing youtube, you have probably realized that production companies are looking to please this year. With such a fantastic lineup of films having just come out in November, and many are set to premiere later this month, I plan to watch all of these films post-finals. Not every household is filled with cinephiles, however, with so many fantastic films in theatres this winter, there is something for everyone.
While I loved watching films with my family, and while I miss them dearly, I also understand that sometimes you need a break, especially during the Holidays. If you are tired of being asked what you plan to do after graduation, or if you are seeing anyone, consider escaping to the theatre, where a dark, cool room, filled with popcorn awaits. here. So, this Holiday season, consider going to see any one of these anticipated films, either with your family as a bonding experience or by yourself for some quality "me time."
