It happens every semester. You register for new classes and it feels like those new classes are forever away. Winter break (or summer break) comes and goes and finally, it's time for those classes. It's possible that you have a class with a friend that you sit with immediately and talk about your breaks. It's also possible that you walk into a class that you registered for, and you don't see a single face you recognize. Nothing is more awkward than trying to find a seat that will be yours until the final exam. Walking into that class is more uncomfortable than wearing wet clothes for more than a minute or showering with cold water. The amount of thoughts running through your head is comparable to how many times you've been out this semester.

2. Is there anyone I know here?
3. I don't want to pick a bad seat.
4. Is it weird if I talk to the girl next to me?
5. She looks nice.
6. Wait, shit, abort mission! She just threw me a dirty look.
7. Damn it, I was hoping we could do nails and watch movies together.
8. You look around the classroom, think about a quote from "Mean Girls" and realize how much it applies to this situation. "You won't be distracted...not one of those Mount St. Mary guys are cute."
9. Wait is that our professor? She looks like she could be my younger sister...
10. Professor starts talking...ok...she seems nice.
11. UGH is attendance really what's most important to her?
12. "Okay, so we're going to say our name, major, hometown, and a fun fact."
13. Are you kidding?
14. The stress that goes into the fun fact... What if I pick a weird fun fact and everyone judges me?
15. I guess I'll just tell everyone I hate pizza.
16. Tells everyone I hate pizza.
17. Receives dirty looks from the entire class and professor post-comment.
18. Welp, this class should be fun!
19. I can't wait for next class.
