When I first found out I was getting a little sister, saying I wasn't excited is an understatement. When we grew up, however, I thought the absolute opposite. I wouldn't trade my sister for the world. This one is for you little..

To my baby sister,

I know I've told you I love you and I know I've told you I'm proud of you, but I have never told you thank you. I have so many things to thank you for that I don't even know where to begin. Hopefully this will be a start.

Thank you for always making me laugh. For always approving my selfies and then commenting on them to make me feel a little bit better and for always being there to listen when I needed to vent.

Thank you for the random face time calls and talking to me till our phones were basically dead. Thank you making fun of people with me. Thank you for helping me babysit our brothers.

You always forgive me when I screw up, and apologize when you are the one in the wrong. Oh, and thank you for playing me in games on iMessage when we're board and supposed to be doing actual important things.

And definitely thank you for making sure I'm up to date on the family/friend drama going on in your life. Thanks for all the ugly Snapchats and screenshotting mine. Thanks for screaming songs in the car with me and baking cookies or brownies (please consider culinary school), and for the greatest sibling rivalry when it comes to collegiate sports (Carolina still beats Duke). For always appreciating the gifts I got for you, always annoying me when I'm in the worst mood and for always keeping it real with me, thank you.

Thank you for being the best little sister I could ask for.

I could never begin to explain what it means to be a big sister or what it feels like to have your sister as your best friend. But I can tell you that it is one of the greatest things to have. It's the best of both worlds. I say a little thank you every night to mom for blessing me with you. Even if you don't know it..
