I am sure we are all familiar with the saying "Every brunette needs a blonde best friend." This statement could not be any more true with the relationship of my best friend and I. However, I feel like you need more appreciation for everything you do so here it goes!
First of all, thank you for always being there for me when I needed you most. For example, when my boyfriend broke up with me at 2 in the morning, you were there for me in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter if it some random hour in the middle of the night or if it’s in the middle of the day, I can always count on you!
Secondly, thank you for always being my confidant. I know I can confide in you and I know that you will always tell me the truth. I can tell you things whether they are good or bad. If we go shopping and something doesn't look good, you never hesitate to tell. If I am seeing a guy and something strikes you as odd, you let me know because we both know that if you date one of us, you date both of us! I value your honesty so much! I can always count on you to make sure I will never embarrass myself whether it come to fashion or over a silly guy.
Thirdly, thank you for always being as silly as me. We have had so many adventures together since we have grown closer. Last summer was by far the best we had. We saw each other at our worst and at our best. We braved the early morning workout before work every day. Even it was 5 o'clock in the morning, we were both there to push each other forward. Even though you are the morning person and I am not, some mornings you looked like a walking zombie because you didn’t have your coffee, and boy was I happy! Finally both of us were on the same level that day! How about our late night Walmart runs and countless pictures? We have too many embarrassing pictures but who better to do it with than you. Thanks for being a goofball with me!
I know in high school we were part of the same core group, but since we have been in college you and I have grown so much closer. I could not be happier knowing that we have become so much closer. You make life and college so much easier. Without you, I honestly don't know what I would do! You keep me grounded and keep me from going insane when things get crazy with school. Instead, we go crazy together! We get lost together, and turn a 2 hour trip into almost 4 hours. I would not trade any of these memories for anything in this world.
Lastly, thank you for being my peanut butter to my jelly (you can be the peanut butter since your the health nut and I'm the sweet tooth). Thanks for being the apple to my pie. Thank you for being my favorite person. And thank you for letting me be the brunette to your blonde.
