Thanksgiving is almost upon us once again, that means it's time for awkward dinner conversations about your love life, even more uncomfortable political conversations, and of course, lots and lots of food. Going home for the holidays can be a stressful endeavor, but thankfully, Leslie Knope and co. understand.

When you arrive and are greeted by relatives you only vaguely know but they still want to hug

"Oh wow! You look so great now." Are you saying I didn't look fabulous before???


"So, are you seeing anyone?"

"What are you studying in school?"


When there are lots of kids running around screaming

When you just want to eat but have to wait for dinner to be ready

When that one pro-Trump relative decides to bring up the election

When it's finally time to eat and you're so excited

Then the food coma hits

Looking around and realizing you're actually really thankful for all of the people around you
