Thanksgiving As Told By Charlie Brown And The Peanuts Gang

Charlie Brown first graced our living room television sets in 1965, when "A Charlie Brown Christmas" first aired on Dec. 9 of that year. The already wildly popular cartoon strip came to life, bringing along Charlie Brown and the whole Peanuts gang. The success of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" sparked several other Charlie Brown installations including: "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving." While "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is my personal favorite (don't worry-there will be an article shortly), I absolutely love watching all of these during the holidays. To be honest, it would not be the holidays without Charlie Brown. So in honor of the 50th anniversary this year of our beloved Charlie Brown, here is Thanksgiving as told by Charlie Brown and the whole Peanuts gang.

Catching up with friends and family...and barely getting in a word edgewise... HELLO OVER HERE!



The moment you pick out the perfect outfit.


Having to help set up because Mom asked you to...


And it going completely awful.



But making it look good regardless.



Enjoying the weather, and the fall foliage...(but not eating it).

FOOTBALL!


Okay, this usually doesn't happen... but, chivalry is not just limited to Thanksgiving.Take notes fellas!


The chaos in the kitchen... or not.



Patiently waiting all day for the food to be ready... and then that glorious moment when you hear: LET'S EAT!


When Dad brings out the turkey...


And no matter the food...


You're all together regardless, and the day turns out to be not so bad after all.
