Thank you for being my best friend.
Thank you for loving me when it was so hard for everyone else. Thank you for caring when nobody else did. You mean more to me than you know. I know I'm not always the perfect person, and as much as I don't want people to see that, I know that I fall apart at times too. You have made it okay to fall, I know that when I do, you will be there for me to help me get back up. You have helped me face all the hardest situations in my life. I know that we haven't known each other for very long. In the short time that we have known each other, you have made the most impact on my life. You have become my best friend, and I don't know what I would do without you. I cannot thank you enough for everything that you have done for me. You have helped shape me into who I am today.
From the moment that I met you in my freshmen year of college, I knew that it would be okay to be myself around you. I knew that you wouldn't judge me based on my occasional oddness (it's not occasional, it happens all the time). I love you more than you will ever know. I owe you everything. Just saying thank you will never be enough. I will never able to pay you back for all that you have done for me.
I want you to know that I will never take anything you ever did for me for granted. All the late nights that you stayed up with me to make sure that I was ok...I appreciate all those nights. The days that I cried for no reason, you didn't make me feel like a fool. The simplest nights were the ones that meant the most to me. The nights where you allowed me to lay in your bed with you and just cuddle and talk about my life with you were the nights that meant the most. I have never truly been so open with someone until I met you. There are not many people like you out there. Thank you for being you, nobody else could replace you.
You out of all people, is who I want to talk to when I am having a bad day. You, is who I turn to for advice even if I don't actually take it. However, I do take it into consideration. I just have this thing where I don't do what other people tell me to do and then I regret it later in life, you know that though. I'm bad at taking advice from others and I am willing to admit that.
No matter where I go in life, I will never forget you. You will always be my best friend. I know that we won't always be together or just a campus apart and that's okay, I know that you will always be there for me no matter what and no matter where. I know that if there were ever a serious situation, you would be right there by my side, making sure that everything will end up ok. You're the best friend any girl could ask for. I'm just the lucky one that gets to call you MY best friend.
