Thank You
Prestige Senior Portraits

To the many people who helped me get through some of the most challenging yet rewarding years of my life- I thank you.

Mom and Dad: First of all, I want to thank you for everything you've done for me in my life, and for giving me life, but you already know how grateful I am for that. Thank you for supporting me from the first day of freshman year to the last day of senior year. Thank you for allowing me to attend one of the most beautiful colleges there is, and paying for it none-the-less. You never cared about me getting the perfect grades, but of course, I strived for it anyway. Thank you for driving 45 minutes just to see me for 10, for answering my phone calls at 3 am, and for helping me with all of my internships, studies, classes, schedules, and more. I couldn't have done any of this without you and I promise to take the advice you have given me about life and use it every day.

Nana and Papa: Thank you for buying my first Apple laptop for college, it really came in handy. Thank you for teaching me about life and how to get through difficult times and make it out to the other side stronger. Thank you for always being proud of me and bragging to all your friends that your granddaughter goes to the remarkable Endicott College. Thank you for always having my picture on your fridge and for never giving up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself. Thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself and for trusting that one day I would follow in the footsteps of the other grandchildren and be a college graduate.

To my dear friends at Endicott: Sagun, Mandy, Simrin, Nina, Rachel, you have made these years unforgettable. Throughout the many friends I have gone through these past 4 years, you have all remained by my side through thick and thin and taught me what real friendship is. I want to thank you for the many laughs and cries you have shared with me, and for allowing me to have a person I can always rely on. We may be going our separate ways, but there will always be a special place for you in my heart and I am just a phone call away. Thank you for being people I can trust and always turn to when I need help or just want to talk. I'll always have your backs.

Jesse: Thank you for your countless phone calls, FaceTimes, and texts of reassurance that I would be able to finish school. Thank you for coming to visit me and bringing me food even though you had just worked all day. Thank you for always being my shoulder to cry on, and listening to everything I have to say, even if it doesn't make sense. You always have my back and I thank you for not only dealing with me through the most stressful days of my life but also in general. Thank you for supporting me and loving me the way I am.

Doc Wylie: You have completely transformed Endicott College and made it the beautiful and amazing campus it is today. Your endless efforts to have a personal relationship with every student and to make this school the best it can be will never go unnoticed and your jolly smile and laugh will never be forgotten. Thank you for allowing the students to come to your home for barbeques, taking the time to listen and act upon the students' needs, and for devoting yourself to the success of every single Endicott student. You truly were an amazing man and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have had such a brilliant and kind man be the president of my college. May you rest in the sweetest peace.

To all my friends, family, and professors: Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for never giving up on me and reassuring me that my hard work will pay off someday. I truly could not have survived these past 4 years without the support and kind words that you all have given me. I owe it all to you completing my undergraduate degree and for the success that I know I will achieve in the future.

To the Class of 2018: May you all do great things and be great people. This college has not only provided us with an excellent education but has also given us advice on how to become successful, find a career, do something we love, and always be kind to others. The lessons and memories we have made will last us forever and I wish you all good luck for the future. Go Gulls!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
