Remember those kids in our elementary school pictures? How many of us can say we are still friends with those people? Well, I can and I am forever grateful to have met them and grow up with them.
All of the memories from our first play date to graduating high school will be talked about until we are 6 feet under. They are going to be the girls who carry me home after my bachelorette party and the girls who will be standing next to me at the alter the next morning (I promise to pick a nice dress). They will be the people I book family vacations with and invite over to eat the entire fridge.
To be so lucky to have met these girls, I don’t even know how it happened. At this point it’s not even a friendship, they’re family. We know every little thing about each other. They know me better than I know myself and love me no matter what. We’ve been through the best times together and the worst. The good times we’re spent laughing and the bad times were spent crying but eventually laughing because we can’t take things too serious for a long amount of time. We are all very different but the same. We each contribute something different to the group but I believe that’s what makes us such amazing friends. I can call them with the silliest or most serious problems knowing they will be there for me free of judgment, imposing their honest opinions. From separating to different states and colleges I have never once thought we would drift apart. Nobody will ever annoy me, laugh with me, eat everything with me, yell at me or support me quite like you guys. It’s people like this everybody needs in their life to support and help them navigate through the hard times and laugh together while doing it. So, thank you for being the people you are and please don’t go anywhere because we have tattoos together and I heard it hurts like a bitch to get one removed.
