I still remember the day I met you, one that I will never be able to forget. You have been a huge part of who I am for over thirteen years and I couldn't imagine my life without you!

Here are some things you need to know.

I am so incredibly proud of the kind of women you have become, and even on the worst days I will be here.

You have always conquered school, work and all of your obligations and made it through with flying colors. You are in such a good place today, and working hard and being who you are is what got you there. I know sometimes it can be hard to believe in yourself, and that's why I'm here to tell you that you deserve to, and should.

You are my other half and my go to all day everyday!

I wouldn't be anywhere in life if I didn't always have you in my corner and cheering me on in everything that I do. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have someone as sweet as you in my life, and I will never stop cherishing that. I may not say it enough, but having you as my best friend all of these years has done so much for me.

You are the bravest person I have ever met.

Your decision to enlist in the Navy was such a tough one, but I don't know anyone better to serve this country. I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that one day you will have a say in the safety of people all over the nation, and I can never thank you enough for that. I couldn't possibly be brave enough to do that, and I will always be proud to say my best friend is my hero.

I couldn't imagine a single day passing by without talking to you, and I hope that I never have to. You lift me up when I am sad and always know the right things to say and do. When I moved 800 miles away from you it was one of the hardest things I have ever done but I know we will always make the effort to be close. Our FaceTime calls and constant text messages are a true necessity for me!

Lastly, don't ever stop being you.

You are the funniest, kindest, most beautiful soul and your presence is a blessing to all of those around you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! If I didn't have a best friend as special as you I would be truly missing out and I know god put you into my life for the very best reasons.
