Dear Dunkin,

Exam season has already started, and it's in full force. This has made me aware of how grateful I am to have one of you so close to campus. I may not want to admit it, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't visited you a majority of the days I've studied for my midterms. You have been there for me through the ups and downs.

Thank you for your iced coffee, that I'm always craving when it gets even slightly warm (~30 degrees in Ohio).

Thanks for your hot coffee, that warms my heart (and my hands) when it's too cold outside to function.

Thanks for being affordable enough for my broke college student budget.

Thank you for your adorable holiday-themed donuts.

Thank you for being there for me before every pre-exam existential crisis.

Thanks for also being there to treat myself after an exam (either for doing very well or very poorly).

Thank you for giving me a burst of energy (I still haven't figured out if it's from all the caffeine or sugar).

Thanks for keeping me grounded--pun intended--.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
