For the past few years, I have worked at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers as a hostess (THE hostess with the mostest). Within these past few years, I have come across some amazing people and made some amazing connections with my coworkers. I would like to use Odyssey as an opportunity to express my genuine appreciation for my managers.
I have seen lots of horror stories where managers do not treat their employees with the amount of respect that they deserve. Luckily for me, that is not the case. I have been blessed to come across a group of managers who genuinely care for me as an employee and me as an individual.
With that being said, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for working your hardest, at all times. Thank you for going above and beyond to make your employees feel less stressed (well, at least try to). Thank you for treating me with respect. Thank you for trusting my ability to do my job. Thank you for understanding my (occasional) stress and bearing with me. Thank you for putting in the effort to make sure I am not too overwhelmed. Thank you for helping me when I need it. Thank you for listening to my problems and hearing me out. Thank you for being there for me, as a manager and as a friend. Thank you for being someone I can look up to. Thank you.
Because of you, I have learned how to be the best employee I can be. I have learned how important it is to have a good relationship with everyone throughout the work place. I have learned leadership skills that I will take with me throughout all my future endeavors. So once again, thank you. Thank you for everything.
