A Thank You Letter To My Coworkers
Glassdoor

Dear My Amazing Coworkers,

As the month of August approaches soon, this means that I will eventually go back to college by the end of the month. I just wanted to take the extra time to thank you for being incredible people to work with. Thank you for being there for me every step of the way, whether it be from when I was still new and learning things, till now where I have a pretty good feel for how things run, yet am still learning. I appreciate your guidance and friendship every single day. We all have our differences and come from different backgrounds, but it is truly inspiring to see that we can all come together and create an environment that is safe and welcoming for guests to walk into. The environment that we have established is not fake either - I feel welcome when I am clocked in and out for the day. This is probably why guests feel comfortable and will enjoy their stay.

Each summer, I feel as though I reconnect with everyone that I did not see or talk to when I was in college each semester. As I start to think more and more about going back to college in just a few weeks, all I can hope for is that I will stay in touch with everyone despite the distance from where we work.

I have grown so much from the people I work with - I am stronger and I have gained more confidence in myself in which I knew I had but I did not ever showcase it. Thank you for allowing me to be the bubbly person that I am and for accepting me for it as well. I will miss each and every one of you but I hope if I do not hear from you throughout my last few semesters at college, I will reconnect when I come back to work during my college breaks.

Thank You! :)

- Autumn

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
