If you're anything like me, you might not have one set best friend. Instead, you have a couple of the best friends in the world and you might not know what you'd do without them.

Dear Best Friends,

Through all the countless laughs and our endless memories, you've had my back through it all, even in the worst of times. My only hope is that I have given you guys as much as you have given to me. I'll never begin to thank you all for all the things you have done for me but I'll start with these.

1. Thank you for the random McDonald's trips at 2 a.m.

Because the best time to eat a Big Mac, a chocolate milk shake, and seven large fries is with your best friends in the early hours of the morning.

2. Thank you for telling me when my makeup and outfits look horrendous.

What do you mean flare jeans aren't cool?

3. Thank you for telling me over and over again how that boy, (and you know the one), just isn't worth my time.

Even though I never listened, you were there for me each time he sucked more than the time before.

4. Thank you for sharing the same love for shows on Netflix as me.

We cried when Derek Shepherd died. And we are still not over it.

5. Thank you for always liking my Instagram posts.

If you didn't, we probably wouldn't be friends.

6. Thank you for letting me come over and pet your dog.

We can both agree dogs are better than people.

7. Thank you for teaming up on me and making fun of me.

I wouldn't want it any other way.

8. Thank you for singing songs in the car at the top of our lungs together.

From "High School Musical" to Nicki Minaj to Blink 182 to Justin Bieber, you guys always know the best tunes.

9. Thank you for laughing at my stupid jokes.

Just kidding, you don't laugh, but I do.

10. Thank you for accepting me when I laugh at my own jokes.

No explanation needed.

11. Thank you for being there for me in the worst of times.

You guys have accepted me in my braces/Bermuda shorts-wearing/pooka-shell necklace phase. Yikes.

12. Thank you for not letting me get away from you.

Even though there are times when we don't talk every day or even every week, you guys will always be my best friends.

13. Thank you for being able to laugh with me at some of my most embarrassing memories.

Even that time I accidentally downloaded the entire Chief Keef album.

14. Thank you for always wanting to do something that costs less than $8.

And sometimes, if we're feeling adventurous, maybe even $10.

15. Thank you for driving aimlessly in the car with me at night. We all know that's when the best conversations happen.

16. Thank you for sending screenshots of interesting things we see on Twitter.

Did that baby really cover itself in peanut butter?

17. Thank you for accepting my ugly Snapchats.

And more importantly, for sending one back.

18. Thank you for appreciating food as much as I do.

We dream of buffalo chicken dip, brownies, pizza, ice cream, mozzarella sticks, pasta, calzones... There's actually a pretty good chance we're talking about food right now.

19. Thank you for accepting the fact that I like to go to bed early.

You'd never ask, "hang at 8?" You all know bed time is 8:30.

20. Thank you for giving the best hugs.

You guys know how to cheer me up.

21. Thank you for being you.

If it weren't for you guys, I would not be where I am today. You guys make me a better person. I love you guys will all my heart.

Love,

Me

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
