Dear Food,

I love you. You have always been there for me. You give me nutrients and make me better (and alive). You always cheer me up. Whether it is quesadillas or shrimp, food is there for you. When I'm sad I have ice cream or something else nice and sweet. You give us all so many options. There is pizza, tacos, cookies, chicken tenders, sandwiches, etc. The options are endless.

Food, you never judge me. If I have three pieces of pizza, you don't give me a weird look for having another. You are there for me at 1 am in the form of a grilled cheese when I am finally done with my essay. You are there for me when I'm craving sushi or nachos. You don't judge me when I eat sushi than have nachos an hour later.

Thank you for being the star of most occasions. When we celebrate we go to eat. You bring old and new friends together. Whenever an occasion is happy or sad there is food.

Thank you for all you do. I love you so much food. Sometimes we just don't deserve you.
