Lord knows that before we even moved in we were harassed with millions of questions about our new lives together...but my all time favorite was "How do you know she isn't crazy?"
To be rightfully honest, you are and I love you for it. But I didn't know the answers to all of the other questions, after all we met through a schooling app. I mean, we seemed like a good fit? I guess when we picked a fight or disagreed we would cross the bridge at a later date.
THANKFULLY NONE OF THOSE HAPPENED.
We just became friends. You were so wonderful to talk to and we just seemed to understand each other's mind. Our minds are almost always in sync, we just get each other. We have similar personalities, we are both sassy and go with the flow but have a set routine. It wasn't hard for us to get along.
I just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for being there and letting me cry.
I know during the first few months of school it wasn't easy. We were both emotional wrecks. Thank you for not thinking I was a crazy person and for letting me do my own thing without asking too many questions but making sure I knew you were always there to help.
Thank you for loving my friends.
I know it can be completely frustrating hearing your roommate talk to people she feels comfortable with and she knows but thank you for always wanting to know about me and connect with those in my life. Thank you for being open to my crazy past when it wasn't easy to keep up on some days.
Thank you for giving the best advice.
You always know the right thing, when to say it and how long to say it for. Especially when it comes to the boy talks or sessions about how I just want to give up. Thank you for talking to me about everything when I knew I was talking your ear off.
Thank you for not getting mad when my room is always messy.
I know it can be annoying, and because my half is the part that people see whenever they walk in you never seem to get upset with me even if you are on the inside. But thank you for understanding when I couldn't find the time to clean it up.
Thank you for always being there to ask how my day was.
One of my favorite things about living with you is that no matter what type of day, or time of day it is I can alway come to you and know that we can talk about what is going on in our lives good or bad. Coming home to someone who I can be open and honest with is so comforting.
Thank you for being there when things got tough.
You are the one person who sees me every day or every year. Thank you for keeping me from drowning in my sorrows and in my schoolwork. Especially for helping me pick up my broken pieces with a heart break or emotional breakdown.
I know I always have a friend to fall back on, and I cannot be more thankful for you each and every day.
