If you're lucky enough, people will come into your life that will support you even when you doubt yourself, they'll tell you something is amazing when you doubt it If you're lucky enough to find this, you are truly blessed. Through out my life I have been lucky enough to have these types of people in my life that I am so lucky to call my friends. At this point in my life I have realized how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life. So here is a thank you letter to the amazing friends and mentors who have came into my life.

Thank you,

To my friends from middle school who went on to high school with me, thank you for being my friend during the awkward stage of my life. Thank you for dancing weird with me at every themed dance. As we stepped into high school, I must be honest we may have grew apart, but to be honest those moments where we realized who we were. The friends who I met in high school thanks to marching band, thank you for making me who I am today. You forced me to grow, to step out of my shell and dare to do things that younger Courtney wouldn't believe.

Thank you to my best friends from high school, you helped me when I didn't know what to do. You held me when I cried after my last performances with the marching band that had become my family. To this day I know we could always pick up where we left off when we hang out.

Thank you,

To the current group that has become a large part of my life, the Pfeiffer Pfamily. Saying Thank you 100 times would not be enough for what y'all have done for me and how you have supported me just in this past year and a month. When I have had breakdowns and not known what I was doing, you let me cry and rant about school work. When I thought I broke my thumb during welcome week last year, Megan Walsh, you drove me back to Pfeiffer. The moments I wanted to step out into the unknown of a new major, y'all supported me, telling me how great it was that I found my passion.

Every time I thought a photo or a group of photos was horrible, that I had failed at taking photos at a soccer game, you told me they were good, told me that I was just to critical. Thank you for that, because those photos are probably the most difficult ones to take.

Thank you for challenging me, thank you for being part of the reason I know the Courtney from any time before Pfeiffer would not recognize.

As an unknown author says: " There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better."

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
