Over the last 20 years, I have been very fortunate. I’ve been happy and healthy. I’ve met so many amazing people. I’ve had the luxury to do pretty much anything I wanted, with some obvious restrictions. All the things I’ve done and have had access too is because of two very important people. My mom and dad.

My parents are strong, independent, loving leaders who have sacrificed pretty much everything to give my siblings and me the best life ever. I will never be able to find the right words that could explain how thankful I am for everything these two have given me. But hopefully this clarifies a fraction of how much it all means to me.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for giving me siblings. I know that you guys got lucky by having your first child be as cool as I am; you thought that one was enough. However, your decision to have three more children was the greatest gift you could have ever given me. I have two amazing sisters who are my best friends. And then of course, there is my brother who completes our family. Thank you creating a family full of love, support and character.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for my Catholic education. You could have easily sent me to public school for free, but you chose not to. You sacrificed so much time and money to give me a Catholic education for 13 years. As much as I complained about hating it, I now realize that it was the best thing for me. I know it wasn’t easy, and it didn’t benefit you. However, you still made the decision because you knew it would better me. Putting your kids first is what I admire the most between the two of you.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for being my number one fans. All my accomplishments in life are because of you two. You taught me to be leader, not a follower. You taught me to go forth with my best effort and never give up. You taught me the essentials of hard work and commitment. The person I am today is because of the foundation you have instilled within me.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for everything. I love you guys, and will soon one day give you both the world (and a shore house).
