Thank You A Million, Roomie

Thank you for always having my back in any decision I come to you with

From day one, you and I always had each other’s backs. Anytime I had a small set back or a large issue, you were the first person in which I came to for absolutely anything! No matter the time of day, you were there! Even when not at school, I still felt like you were always close by. If it wasn’t in person, I knew you were only a call, facetime, or text a way! Whether it be about school, friends, boys and especially family, you were always my go-to person! Thanks for sticking by my side through it all!

Thank you for introducing me to new music, the best series Netflix has to offer and make-up and workout YouTube tutorials

Chance the Rapper, HIMYM, Whitney Simmons and Jaclyn Hill.. I would never have come across a love for these individuals if it wasn’t because of you! Also, thank you for starting my addiction towards make-up, you the true MVP.

Thank you for always being down for a good time

I swear, you and I always manage to have the best of time doing something so simple. We can make all times into great memories... Going out to Sushi for Easter, being the ‘moms’ of the group, getting kicked out of our apartment from fire alarms, hosting great holiday themed parties, always ending up at Pizzano’s after a crazy night, attending concerts together, exploring new breakfast places, the list could go on forever! With you, I have done some insane stuff! Wouldn’t want to experience this past year and a half with anyone else!

Thank you for knowing more about me then I know about myself

I have never come across a person who 9/10 can finish my sentences, sense when something is wrong and always knowing the right thing to say. If I don’t know how to put something into words, you usually can for me. When I don’t know what to say over text, you already have something drafted out before I have time to even think. Even when it is not easy, you always tell me how it is. Even if it is something I don’t necessary want to hear, you know it is right for me to be aware of the truth. You always know when I need a shoulder to cry on, a great laugh or a heart to heart conversation. Your way to sense emotion and to handle it in such an incredible way is one of a kind. I love you for that.

Thank you for being my best friend

Damn, to think it was all because I sucked at chemistry freshman year... here we are! Going from you just being my chem tutor, to looking at housing for Sophomore year to being in the same friend group and now roommates, it has been a crazy journey to are friendship! You have continued to be my left hand through it all. You are one of the few people who knows the true me and what I am really made of. There are no words to thank you for all that you have done. You are the greatest best friend any girl could possibly ask for. Here is too a lifetime of memories and an amazing friendship.

You rock, kid

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
