Dear little brother,
Now, let me tell you how much you truly frustrate me. First of all, you're about eight feet tall and way stronger than you know. So when you push me or think you're just joking around, remember that you've got the strength of a bull, and I of a squirrel. Secondly, why must you do everything in your power to make me mad? Even when I am to the point of crying with frustration, you don't give in. And it's not like I can really stop you, since you're a giant! And lastly, why aren't you still my adorable little brother?
But despite everything you do to aggravate me (which is A LOT of things) I could not imagine my life without you. You are my instant best friend. I know that I can always count on you to make me smile. When you make your perfectly timed jokes or talk in your weird voices, I cannot help but burst into laughter. Even on my worst days, you make me feel happier than anyone else. You know me so well and because of that, you know exactly how to cheer me up. My life would be filled with less smiles and less laughter if I did not have you.
You're also my companion. We have our many traditions, like Christmas sleepovers or goodbye jokes. I know that I am never alone as long as I have you as a brother. You are always up for anything. From crazy adventures to Star Wars movie days, you are the one I know will always be up for the challenge.
As kids, we made forts that were basically mansions and tree houses that brought us to different worlds. It was like we were Spy Kids, racing around for ours on end. We'd practice baseball and basketball all afternoon on some days and then recite our favorite shows, like "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" or "That's So Raven," on others. You came to all of my games and competitions and I came to all of yours. We were and always will be each other's loudest and most embarrassing cheerleaders.
And despite how much you make fun and joke with me, you also make sure nobody else does. You're always the first person to stand up for me and you never let anything bad happen. Even though I am the older one, you are always there to take care of me. I could be crying at a sad movie or because of something serious but you always make sure that I am alright.
Without you, I would be absolutely lost. You have been my brother, my nuisance, my joker and my protector since the day that you were born. I may get mad or complain about you, but never forget how much I love you. I always kind of wished that I had a lot of siblings, like in "Cheaper by the Dozen." But I would never trade you for anyone or anything else.
Thank you for being you and for being my little brother.
Love always,
Your Big Sister
