To my forever friends:

Just to start off, I love you guys. There are friends, and there are forever friends and am I glad I have you guys. You guys all deserve the world and some, and sometimes I seriously wonder how I got so lucky to have forever friends like you guys. So here's to you guys for being the best forever friends ever!

1. Thank you for not blocking me on Snapchat... yet.

All of you know how much I love to Snapchat, but thank you for excepting that and just dealing with it. I know my ridiculous "Snapstreaks," weird face filters of myself, and excessive Snapchats in one day can get annoying sometimes. In the end, I know they all make you laugh with my ridiculous puns and I love to send them on a daily.

2. Thank you for supporting me.

I know I grew up early and missed the "college" stage of life, but that's what I wanted and I am so happy to be a military wife in college, but not being a college kid. I get judged a lot for it "being married to young" but, hey, you guys -- supporting me is why I went through with what I wanted to do, and I can't be any happier. Thanks guys.

3. Thanks for being my second family.

Late night drives, and midnight cries. What else is family for? I should say, sorry I come over to most of your houses and raid the fridge, take up your couch space and control your TV, but would you really want me any other way? Family ends in ily, which is slang for i love you, and i love you guys because you're my second family.

4. Thank you for understanding my stomach.

I tried to make that an uncomfortable subtitle. But, thank you guys for understanding my food addiction. With all respect to the word "addiction" it is true I am addicted to food, and it is truly my stress reliever. You guys already knew that i'm sure, but I love food. Thank you guys for always stopping with me to get food (even if we just ate.)

5. Thanks for understanding me.

OK, let's be real, we all sometimes think, What did Andrea just say? or Where is Andrea's mind at? with all seriously random stuff that comes to my mind. Im a little weird, but all good in the end. But, I just wanted to say thanks for understanding me, and not being weirded out by me. I am truly honored that you guys made a "Weird random things that Andrea says" list.

6. Thanks for loving me.

Showing some love for the girl back home. I love you guys, and thanks for loving me.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
