Dear College Friends,
Thank you. I know that these friendships won't last for just four years. They'll last forever, for life, and for always! So here's my open letter to you. Thank you for going to Walmart with me at 3 a.m. on any given day. Thank you for taking care of me when I'm sick and my mom isn't there to take care of me.
Thank you for not caring that my laundry basket is almost always full. Thank you for putting up with my indecisiveness, the music playlists that you hate, and the bad decisions I've made. Thank you for encouraging some of those bad decisions and being part of them, as well.
Thank you for hearing me rant about that professor that shall not be named. Thank you for staying up all night studying with me and telling me what you heard would be on the test. Thank you for letting me borrow your class notes. Thank you for giving me a Scantron whenever I was unprepared.
Thank you for laughing at my jokes that don't make any sense sometimes. Thank you for making my problems your problems. Thank you for listening to my crazy stories. Thank you for sharing your bed with me. Thank you for sharing all of your cool stuff with me. Thank you for letting me raid your closet whenever I want.
Thank you for letting me borrow your phone charger. Thank you for teasing me; it reminds me to not take myself too seriously. Thank you for the thousands of pictures we have together. Thank you for never judging me. Thank you for not blackmailing me with all the dirt you know about me. Thank you for always convincing me to go out. Thank you for grabbing me food when I don't have time to go myself. Thank you for all the sleepovers.
Thank you for painting your face with me at football games. Thank you for crafting with me on random days. Thank you for witnessing my emotional dysfunctions, first time tries, and the countless failures, and STILL choosing to stick around. Thank you for helping me when I had car troubles, all while standing out in the rain with me. Thank you for not letting me go to campus functions alone. Thank you for calling me out when I needed it.
Thank you for all of this and for everything else in between! You are truly the best and August can't come soon enough. I love you so much!
