Summer is one of the most looked forward to parts of the year by college kids. For some, it's a fabulous time of rest, relaxation, and fun. For others, it's a time to make as much money as you possibly can at a summer job. For all of us, there's only so much time before you're sending these messages to your college friends when you're officially over "being home" for the summer.
1. "Why do you have to live so far away?!"
Time differences suck, no matter how big or small they are. So do long drives and the many miles that make summer visits nearly impossible.
2. "Can I come live with you?"
Because living in a different town or state from your college BFFs is weird as all get out.
3. "I'm tired of adulting SOS"
I need a nap. You need a nap. Everybody everywhere needs a nap!!!
4. "We lost our streak again!"
It's not like I really cared about that streak.... I'm fine. You're fine. Just don't EVER do it again, okay?
5. "Do you still have that shirt I let you borrow?"
You probably still have it. You also either wear it all the time and claim it as your own, OR you have no earthly idea where it is.
6. "I MISS YOU LITERALLY SO MUCH!!!!!"
You probably fee like there's no way you'll survive until August when y'all go back to your college town.
7. "It's been 69 days since our last Taco Tuesday how are we alive?!"
Taco Tuesday just isn't the same without $1 tacos and all your best buds.
8. "I didn't know that they broke up!!!"
It's so hard to keep up with everyone (and their relationship status) when you don't see them at least on a weekly basis!
9. "I just wanna start school already I'm such a grandma"
Just because you wanna move back to school doesn't mean that you wanna start classes. You just really miss the squad!!!
10. "I wish I had my own apartment already!!"
At least your parents don't make you pay rent, right?
11. "When we have actual money, we're going on a road trip!"
*Sings* "We're going on a trip, in our favorite rocket ship!"
12. "Why do we have to have such opposite schedules?"
You work all day, one friend works all afternoon, another friend works night shifts. You can never get it together!
13. "What day are you moving back on campus?"
You want to be back ASAP, but also you wanna make sure all your friends are there, too.
14. "I still miss you literally so much!!!
There's something about the bond between college friends.
15. "Can you FaceTime soon?
