I Speak Hip Hop

Unless you live under a rock, you saw the drama between Kimye and Taylor. If you've been living under a rock for the past seven years, you wouldn't know that this beef has been going on since 2009, when Kanye interrupted Taylor during her speech for Best Female Video at the Video Music Awards. Now, however, the drama has changed. Kanye released his music video for the song "Famous," a video that prominently featured a wax figure of Taylor Swift directly to his right, with lyrics about her: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous/I made that bitch famous." Almost a month later, Taylor tried to come forward and say that she had never given permission for them to use the image of her in the video, and that she would very much like to be "excluded from this narrative." Almost immediately after, Kim came forward with recorded footage and audio that proves that this is wrong. Some people claim that the fight is a true knock out, drag out culmination of the drama started at the VMAs back in 2009. Some people think that this is simply Taylor trying to keep up her good girl, victim image. Others put the blame of the whole situation on Swift's Grammy acceptance speech, where she accuses West of "taking credit for" her "accomplishments or fame." Either way, all of this lead to a trending tag on Twitter, #KimExposedTaylorParty, where thousands of people voiced their opinions on the dispute. Here are some of the best things people were tweeting during the drama.

1. Even pro wrestlers got involved.

2. "Not all heroes wear capes."

3. We were warned, but we didn't listen.

4. What a unique middle name.

5. Throwback Thursday?

6. Relationship goals.

7. This really is something Kris would do.

8. Would Taylor write this one, too?

9. Team Kim versus Team Taylor

And last, but not least...

10. Drag Her and Go?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
