10 Types Of Guys You Meet On Tinder
Tinder

Let’s face it. When it comes to Tinder there does tend to be stereotypes.

  1. The Groupie: He’s friendly, loves to socialize, only problem is … you can not tell which person is actually him. Between the fraternity shot, the pic of him and his buds, and the family pic, you are left wondering: is he the one with the dreamy eyes, or the one you’d rather not swipe right for.
  2. The Manly Man: In the age of feminism this guy wants to remind you there are still super macho guys out there. He has pictures of him holding up his hunting prizes or perhaps a shotgun. He loves dirt-bikes, beer, and sports. The perfect match for any gal who likes getting down and dirty.
  3. The Animal Lover: He has pictures of his dog! Score! Just keep in mind that although his pooch is absolutely adorable he may not be the one you want to swipe right for. The good thing though is, if he is a good match for you, that is one step closer to getting to play with a pup!
  4. The Family Guy: He has at least one picture of his family and he says he is looking for a serious relationship rather than a hookup. This can be the match for you if you are looking to find your college sweetheart. Also, a good way to judge a man’s character is by how he treats his mother.
  5. The Nature Boy: There are definitely pictures of this type either hiking, having a picnic or doing both at the same time. He proclaims his love of nature in his profile descriptions as well as uses at least one of the nature themed emojis. The perfect date for this type is anything involving the outdoors, so instead of “netflix and chill” propose “nature trail and chill.
  6. The “Is That Your Kid?”: Well, he’s holding either a toddler or newborn in at least one of his photos. Is he a really young father? A much older brother? A cousin? The world may never know but you can find out by just asking. Perhaps he is just trying to show his sensitive side … or he has a kid, which is cool too.
  7. The Selfie Involved: All of his pictures are selfies. Every. Single. One. Either he is practicing his best face for his future modeling career, or he just loves taking selfies. One or two selfies is fine on a Tinder profile, but only selfies may indicate someone who is a little too into themselves.
  8. The One With No Picture At All: Either he does not have any pictures at all on his profile or all of his pictures are of objects or cartoons. This is not necessarily a bad thing! Maybe he is just a little shy or wants to meet someone who does not judge solely on looks. On the other hand, Tinder is the kind of place where you are judging people just on the way they look in a photo, so maybe this is not the best place this type of guy should be looking.
  9. The Artist: The artist type presents himself in several different ways. Maybe he is incredibly fashionable or perhaps he has a couple extra piercings. This is the kind of guy who will want you to embrace art as much as he does, which can be a positive or negative depending how artsy you are yourself. He is in touch with his emotions and knows how to dress himself. A perfect date with this type would be a concert or an independently run coffee shop (hipster right?).
  10. The One That’s Just Right: He is the one that is just right for you! He is cute, kind, and responds to your messages. Now here is a little helpful piece of info. Any of the above types can ALSO be this type! Swipe right for anyone you have a good feeling about even though they might fall into a stereotype. You never know until you know. Have fun, be yourself, and keep swiping!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
