Country music is a great place to go when you need to cry, laugh, smile, or go back to a memory. Here are a few of my personal favorite songs that always can help me when I am in certain moods.

1. "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood

This is the perfect song when you are mad, feeling hurt, or you have been done wrong. The upbeat, playful tempo gets you excited and makes you feel like nothing can get in your way.

2. "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins

I admit, I have sat in my car crying my eyes out listening to this song. This song makes you realize how important the little things are in life.

3. "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" by Justin Moore

This song holds a special place in my heart. It is also a tear jerker, but it shows you that you should never take a conversation or an experience with a person for granted. You never know when the last conversation or time spent with a person will be.

4. "The House That Built Me" by Miranda Lambert

This song gives me goosebumps. It reminds me that no matter where I go in life I will always have something to look back on.

5. "Better Man" by Little Big Town

Okay last tear jerk, I promise. This song is for all of us who have had that person in your life that you wish could have been there longer, but you knew that it was for the best if you just let them go.

6. "The Weekend" by Brantley Gilbert

I could listen to Brantley Gilbert all day, but this song is the perfect "going out" anthem for the weekend. Every time I hear it while I'm driving I start dancing in my seat and turn the volume all the way up.

7. "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" by Jake Owen

This song always makes me smile. It is a fun song that takes you back to good memories, and good times.

8. "I Don't Want This Night To End" by Luke Bryan

Did you expect me to make a country music list and not include Luke Bryan? This song is the perfect song for a date night, or to take you back to that perfect night.

9. "Somewhere In My Car" by Keith Urban

Another upbeat song that just makes you want to dance. This is one of my favorite Keith Urban songs, his voice is so beautiful and authentic. Even though it is about missing someone, the upbeat tempo and catchy lyrics makes you just want to dance and have fun with it.

10. "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett wrote this song for his wife! Their relationship is so beautiful and they have so much love for each other, I want someone who looks at me the way he looks at her. This song makes me smile knowing that their kind of love is exists.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
