Books are so great aren't they. Or is that a statement that has been repeated to you over and over again. Well, reading is not something that requires time. It is NEVER something that should be done out of force. Reading is something you have to do on your own. No one will be that motivation or know one will hand it down to you. To be able to seek pleasure out of reading is something that is crucial and really useful. To enjoy reading is something that can come easily, and it only requires a bit of time and a little energy To start off to be a better reader. These ten books might be a great place to start!

1. The Hate U Give 

The Hate U Give takes you through a young girl's experience and does a great job at creating a impact and a incentive to change.

2. Wonder 

Wonder, a book that is meant for youth, but also can create an impact for those older. This book takes you through a journey of a boy and how he struggled with loving himself and being comfortable with who he really is.

3. The Kite Runner

This particular book takes through a journey of friendship,betrayel, and finding the true meaning of the importance in friendship. This novel is a must read because it takes you through time and changes, it also leaves you teary-eyed from vivid details and impacts.

4.  Milk And Honey

Who doesn't like poetry that you can relate to? Milk and Honey is a book that takes you through your own memories and flashes memories from the past and is highly well written.

5. Tuesdays With Morrie

Tuesdays With Morrie, one of the greatest book of all time. This book takes you through a friendship of a college student and a professor and the last class. This book is one of the most treasured as a lot of the content relates to modern day and culture.

6. The Great Gatsby 

The Great Gatsby is a novel that takes you through feelings of betrayal, mistrust but also gives an important vivid image and creates an impact that well, you are going to have to read to find out!

7. The Fault In Our Stars 

Okay? Okay. This book is one that will put you in tears. This book was one of my favorites growing up. John green does an excellent job using certain word choices and pharsing sentences in such a way that will leave the reader impacted and well maybe teary-eyed.

8. Just Listen

This book is one that takes you through a struggle of finding someone who is willing to just listen.

9. And The Mountains Echoed 

This book takes you through a emotional and much affectionate journey. It's a book that really gives and sows the purpose of being alive.

10. To Kill A Mocking Bird 

old school? Not really. To Kill A Mocking Bird is a book that takes on a journey. A journey that involves issues on topic that we are still dealing with today.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
