Madeline Stuart, an 18-year-old teenager from Brisbane, Australia, has done some pretty amazing things in her life so far. She is a teen living with Down syndrome, however, this has not stopped her from chasing her dreams. Before she got some contracts in the modeling industry, Stuart succeeded in losing 40 plus pounds to get healthier. That is not an easy feat to accomplish for a teenager, and this is especially hard for teens with Down syndrome. This is because they are more prone to being overweight. She lost the weight by participating in activities she loves like dance, cheerleading, and swimming. Stuart still regularly participates in these activities.

Stuart has always loved to style her own outfits. This and her recent weight loss has led her into a modeling career. She had always dreamed of becoming a model, and now, after recently landing multiple modeling contracts, she can say she is living her dream.

She appeared on the cover of the B Mag.

She also recently signed a contract with the fitness company Manifesta.

However, Stuart is not only pursuing modeling for herself. She wants to influence change in the modeling industry. Through her career, she promotes that everyone no matter their shape, size, or appearance should be able to model.

After accomplishing this dream, Stuart set her bar even higher. Next, she wants to work on creating a clothing line, with hopes of causing similar change through women's fashion as she did through the modeling industry. As a public figure for teens and others suffering from disabilities, she empowers everyone to reach for the stars and accomplish their goals. She shows off her work and advice on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Stuart's story is an inspiration to everyone. She, a girl with Down syndrome, has accomplished many feats, and she is working hard to affect change in the modeling industry.

She is an inspiration and someone to look up to for anyone and everyone who has suffered challenges. Her story shows that challenges can be overcome and that if you work towards your goals, they can really come true. Her modeling career gives hope that the modeling industry will become increasingly more inclusive and accepting.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
