Ahhh, the first day of school. It brings so many reactions from a lot of different people, but for teachers, it's the greatest thought you could ever have. From watching the kiddos walk into the door to setting up the classroom, the first day of school is perfect, even when it's far from it.

Preparation for school has us like...

Waking up in the morning of the first day of school...

When the computer doesn't work the morning of school... and when the copier breaks...

When the kiddos start to walk through the door...

And when you see your kiddos from last year, all grown up and stuff...

Stopping and waiting for your friends to stop talking in the hallway...

And when that final student leaves, knowing you survived what is the worst yet best day of the year...


Congrats, teachers. IT IS TIME TO CELEBRATE!
