5 Best Sushi Places In Tally If You're A Sushi Lover Or Just Starting Out

Alright, my Tallahassee locals (and non-locals)! It's time to talk about sushi!

I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm 99% certain that there's a sushi roll for everybody! Even the people who aren't a fan of raw fish. I remember five years ago my perception of sushi was that it was all raw and the idea of eating uncooked fish didn't sit well with me, so I stayed away from places like those.

Little did I know that not all sushi rolls have raw fish! You heard me right. When I started to eat sushi I started off with basic rolls like the California Roll or the Shrimp Tempura Roll, these are both super yummy beginner rolls for those who are exploring the sushi realm.

After that, I started to look into bigger rolls that contain things like cooked scallops, imitation crab, and mango (yes, mango). Even when it comes to ordering bigger rolls, there are still plenty of options that don't include raw fish.

Below I have included five of my favorite places that serve sushi here in Tallahassee. These places offer a variety of sushi rolls for the raw fish lovers or the people that prefer to not have raw fish!

Osaka Japanese Stake House and Sushi Bar

Masa

Kiku Japanese Fusion

Dao Restaurant

Nagoya

Next time you're feeling adventurous or have a craving for sushi, don't forget to give these places a try!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
