"Talk About" Is Cuter Than Ask Me

While you are going through your social media apps trying to pick up a significant other, think about this.

"Talk About" Is Cuter Than Ask Me
Jens Johnsson

In today's time, so many people are meeting through technology. I have accepted not going out on a date to get to know one another, but the 20 Questions is getting a bit old.

If you really want to get to know someone on a personal and intimate, don't start off by saying "Ask me about my work out regime" or "What do you want me to ask first?" Because I guarantee that a girl who is looking for more than a one night stand will start thinking you are just like the rest fairly quickly.

For goodness sakes, talk about something deeper than your favorite color or your favorite sexual position.

1. Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.

2. Talk about your first kiss.

3. Talk about the person you've had the most intense romantic feelings for.

4. Talk about the thing you regret most so far.

5. Talk about the best birthday you've had.

Talk about how you were turning 9 and your family threw the best surprise party.

6. Talk about the worst birthday you've had.

7. Talk about your biggest insecurity.

Talk about how whenever people bring it up, you just get quiet.

8. Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

9. Talk about the little things on your body that you like the most.

10. Talk about the biggest fight you've ever had.

11. Talk about the best dream you've ever had.

Talk about how you were in 4th grade, and you couldn't wait to tell your best friend about it.

12. Talk about the worst dream you've ever had.

Talk about how you were in 2nd grade and how it kept you up for nights afterwards hiding under your covers.

13. Talk about a vacation.

Talk about how you drove down to Florida and enjoyed every moment of it.

14. If you're going to talk about sexual things, talk about the first time you had sex, or how you imagine your first time.

15. Talk about the time you were most content in life.

16. Talk about the best party you've ever been to, or the worst.

17. Talk about someone you want to be friends with.

18. Talk about something that happened in elementary school.

Talk about how you loved art class.

19. Talk about something that happened in middle school.

Talk about how you were shoved in a locker and bullied endlessly.

20. Talk about something that happened in high school.

Talk about how you thought you found the love of your life.

21. Talk about a time you had to turn someone down.

22. Talk about your worst fear.

23. Talk about a time someone turned you down.

24. Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.

Talk about how it was a winter night, and you were sitting in the passenger seat of a white impala.

25. Talk about an ex-best friend.

26. Talk about things you do when you're sick.

Talk about how nothing makes you feel better other than pretzels and icing and cherry sprite.

27. Talk about your favorite part on someone else's body.

28. Talk about your fetishes.

29. Talk about what turns you on.

30. Talk about what turns you off.

31. Talk about what you think death is like.

32. Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

33. Talk about what you do when you are sad.

34. Talk about the worst physical pain you've endured.

35. Talk about the things you wish you could stop doing.

36. Talk about your guilty pleasures.

37. Talk about someone you thought you were in love with.

38. Talk about songs that remind you of certain people..

39. Talk about the things you wish you'd known earlier.

40. Talk about the end of something in your life.

Talk about the way you love the sky and the stars, the way you hate the sun or the way you feel when you watch your favorite sports team.

Just talk, I promise it will be worth it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
