28 Steps Of Taking On Finals As Told By Spongebob

The most dreaded two words in the English language: finals week. Every college student knows that this is the time for panic attacks, anxiety, sadness and uncontrollable procrastination. Everything you've done this entire semester is about to be tested, and in many cases, will make or break your grade, not to mention the fact that most professors assign papers and homework due simultaneously. Well, if Spongebob can fail boating school for the 39th time and not give up, I think we can do the same! Here is finals week as told by everyone's favorite cartoon:

1) When your teacher says you can bring a note card to the exam.

2) When your teacher assigns a last minute paper in the midst of all your studying.

3) Kissing goodbye all of your scholarship money.

4) Looking for some consolation after you failed your third exam and realize the only way you're going to be able to have a good life is if you marry rich!

5) Looking at the first page of the exam like.

6) When you've studied so hard you forgot basic motor functions but also need to stress eat.

7) When someone says "You're so smart you definitely did well."

8) Waiting outside the classroom to take the test.

9) You got this!

10) Okay, maybe not.

11) When finals are approaching but you still haven't started studying.

12) "How haven't you studied yet?"

13) After three minutes of solid studying.

14) When you're thirsty af during the final but don't want to make noise opening your bottle.

15) Skimming through all 20 chapters for the first time all semester.

16) When someone says #15 is impossible.

17) Every day during finals week.

18) When you got 9 but everyone else got 219.

19) Submitting your last essay.

20) When your teacher walks around the room and you have no idea how to solve any of the problems but you have to look like you're just thinking.

21) The only appropriate way to stay hydrated during finals week.

22) Midst of your 20th breakdown.

23) "Mom, I am literally studying as we speak."

24) Everyone: "That wasn't so bad, I cant believe we worried"

Me: *spongebob*

25) Comforting your friend who never showed up to class but now regrets it.

26) Hoping you don't get called on to answer the review question.

27) When you give yourself that last minute pep-talk: "You know what, I'm going to do fine."

28) Walking out of your last final like.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
