Dress How You Want
We should choose to wear what makes us comfortable and express ourselves.

I agree with the author's viewpoint that we should wear on what makes us comfortable and express ourselves without judgement. People shouldn't be judgmental about others are wearing since it doesn't affect them. It's 2023 and we should have been over this already. I always wear what makes me comfortable, whether if it's for work or when I'm running errands for the day. Back in college, I usually wear leggings or skinny jeans with a sweater or cardigan with a top for fall/winter. In the spring, I like to wear athletic shorts or jean shorts with tank tops or I would wear a dress. Sometimes, I wear hats to class because I feel like it or was having a bad hair day. In present day, my style of clothes had matured more but I still wear what I want and what I feel best in.
I had more freedom to express myself in college, more so than high school. Back in high school, I remembered that we weren't allowed to wear hats and also we weren't allow to wear short shorts. The shorts that we have to wear have to be two inches below our finger tips. And I also remembered we weren't allow to wear tank tops that have straps that were less than two inches. In college, those rules didn't exist. So I wore them around my college campus without any issues.
In post grad life for me, I just wear whatever makes me feel comfortable since I work from home. On the days I have meetings, I made sure I'm dressed up a bit and that my hair isn't a total mess. Whenever I go to work in person, which is once in a while, I dressed casually but still somewhat professional for work. Last time I went to work in person, I wore a turtleneck long sweatshirt with leggings and black boots plus a jacket since it was cold outside. I dressed what's best for me without breaking the bank, especially since clothes are more expensive nowadays.
Moral of the story, don't judge what others are wearing and wear what makes you feel comfortable. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all and focus on something else. We have the freedom to express ourselves with the clothes we wear. That's what makes us a creative species.
