Besides school, autumn has so much happiness to offer us. The green leaves of the trees finally start to change to brown, orange, red-pinkish, orange-red or yellow. I love being able to look outside the window, holding a cup of coffee and seeing the array of colors on the trees. Can autumn get any more beautiful?
I also love when the leaves start falling off and floating down to the ground. Walking over the colorful leaves is almost like a red carpet, but better because the crunchy sound is satisfying, and all the colors surrounding you is an aesthetic. I just want autumn to last all year round, who needs the other seasons am I right?
Besides the changing of the leaves, it's also the time to visit apple orchards or pumpkin patches. Let me just happily walk through the rows of apples and pumpkins until I find the best ones to choose from. I'm someone who not only wants a huge pumpkin but I also want the roundest or weirdest shaped pumpkin I can find.
I love the weird-shaped ones, like yes weird shaped pumpkin, you are now mine to make even more beautiful.
And then picking apples on top of that? Sign me up. I'll stuff as many apples in the bag until it seems like it might break and I'll also try to get the ones on the very top with some help from friends of course because my short legs aren't going to be much help.
Plus, the fall fashion is finally in and I live for fall fashion. Especially cute, oversized, comfy sweaters and boots. I absolutely love me a good pair of boots. The coziness and colorfulness of autumn bring out the same factors in people's fashion and I love that. I love being able to rock a comfy, cute and cozy outfit.
Last but not least, Halloween has arrived. FreeForm is finally doing 31 nights of Halloween movies, plus Disney Channel's classic Halloween movies, which include everyone's favorite 1998 movie "Halloweentown." Autumn just has it all, and I live for this season.
For the next few months of autumn, you can find me watching Halloween movies and enjoying this weather until the treacherous winter comes.
Ah, fall. The sweet smell of bonfires lingers all day, the sound of leaves crunching beneath you, the sun shining through the leaves making every hour look like golden hour and the wretched, flat taste of apple cider.
Yes, you read that right. And I know I'm not alone. Apple cider is in the top five worst drinks of all time. Deep down, you know it is true; why else is it only marketed ONE season out of the year!? I have a feeling most of you out there only drink it because it's culturally accepted that when fall rolls around, you're expected to buy apple cider at the grocery store. Why are you doing it? Because if you don't, you'll look life a fall-loving fraud.
Let's change that stereotype. You can love fall without loving apple cider! I have often found that people squish their face up when I say I don't like apple cider; they look at me like I'm insane. "How can you like fall and not like apple cider?!" is usually what I hear after their face recovers from the crumpled expression. I love going to apple orchards as much as the next person but I would like to enjoy my doughnuts without feeling judgment for drinking water instead of apple cider.
Friends, please stop trying to convince me that apple cider is good. If I am being honest, there are better pairings for doughnuts and pies than apple cider. So let's not deny ourselves any longer. And please, stop trying to convince me that apple cider is good (it isn't).

3. Milk
4. Bourbon
6. Wine
Try a wine from the orchard you are at.

Haters, you need to try something pumpkin spice before you knock it. This delicious flavor makes me think of the holidays and brings happiness to all who consumes it!
3. Football season happens.
Whether or not you are a big sports fan, most Americans were raised to at least know what football is. If you went to a school with a football team, you know just how big of a deal football is to your school and community.
Plus, football games are a fun way to hangout with friends and to drink hot cocoa.
4. The weather is literally perfect.

It's also not too cold. You won't worry about frostbite, even without wearing a jacket.

7. There are so many holidays!

The first major holiday of the season, and my person favorite, is Halloween where you get tons of candy. Then about a month later is Thanksgiving with the yummy homemade food!
8. November is a common birth month = Infinite birthday cake.
GiphyI was born in November, as was my father and his father. Not to mention many members of my family, my boss, and other coworkers. This just seems to be a month for having babies! So you will be getting a lot of birthday treats!
9. Stores prepping for the winter holidays means great deals!

In the autumn, you get Black Friday shopping and other discounts throughout the months! Stores know people Christmas shop early so they get the discounts ready.
10. You can gain a few pounds without anyone noticing.

Before I explain, let me tell you that you should not give a shit if you gain a few pounds. But if you are like me, and are a bit insecure about your body, fall is a great time to feel confident in yourself while still looking cute and put-together!
So you see, autumn is, by far, the best season of them all. With multiple holidays, candy and homemade foods, and the perfect weather, who could not like this season?
