1) When it's Syllabus Week Eve and you think it's going to be a great semester.
2) When your alarm goes off in the morning and you instantly regret your scheduling decisions.
3) When you look at your syllabus and realize there's a lot more work than you thought.
4) When the professor for your night class says, "I don't let students out early."
5) When the slideshow goes from "Introduction" to "Chapter 1".
6) When your bank account hits rock bottom from buying so. many. textbooks.
7) And when you realize those expensive textbooks are useless AFTER you bought them.
8) When you see your friends walk into your class.
9) When it's 8 am and your professor says there's a no-eating policy in their classroom.
10) When it's the first day of class and you already have 60 pages to read.
11) And finally.. when it's the end of syllabus week and you realize it just gets worse from here.
