Lauren Rimmer, 35, Fisherman

With all due respect, what is up with everyone on this cast having an issue with lazy?! This better be a good season because people better be over strategizing because they can't just lay around and do nothing. Back to Lauren. She is a great character. We haven't seen anyone like her in a long time. She does seem like a hard ass in many respects and doesn't take crap from anyone. The big problem she is going to have is that she is just so different than everyone else even though she isn't terribly older than most of of the cast. She can fish so that could be a big reason why they keep her around, but I just don't think she is going to be able to gel with anyone else on this season. She probably is going to get into a fight with someone early and everyone is just going to turn on her. They are either going to vote her out or she is going to become the underdog of the season. My guess for someone that clearly hasn't seen the show before? Prediction: Pre-Merge

Ryan Ulrich, 23, Bellhop

Here he is folks, the man that got by far the most attention when the preview came out at the end of Game Changers. This guy is going to be the greatest character on this season, possibly the best player. I will go as far as to say somewhere on a CBS lot in LA, casting has already got his name locked in for another season. His bio is by far the longest and his video was also the longest. This could be smoke screen from CBS but I don't see how this guy doesn't at least make the merge. His story is way too good not too. He compares himself to Todd Herzog, the winner of Survivor: China which I can kind of see. Same body type and he seems like he is friendly enough that he will be underestimated by everyone in the game. I see a lot of a Cochran/Spencer mix though. Cochran was the underdog and was nerdy super fan, but Ryan doesn't exactly go full Cochran. He is going to have the strategic mind of Spencer and it is possible that he might be very underrated in challenges. He also reminds me a little of Adam Klien. His goal to be a very well spoken person is really not a bad trait to have either. It was really funny though that he said Eli Manning was his biggest idol in life mainly because he always takes responsibility for when his team loses and he is very humble. While Ryan doesn't need to take the blame if they lose a challenge, this is an interesting mind set to have in Survivor. He could really use this to his advantage if he can do this to the point that everyone thinks he is dumb and doesn't know what he is doing. Either way, Ryan is going to capture a lot of hearts this season. Prediction: Merge

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
