Life in the beauty world can be so hard. There are so many products and techniques, not to mention how pricey it can be. Below are a few tips and tricks to help you survive the beauty world.

1. Heat up your eyeliner

By warming up your eyeliner, it allows for a smoother application. Resulting in instant gel liner.

2. Matte Lipstick

By using a colored powder or translucent powder, you can give your favorite lipstick a matte finish.

3. Tame your brows

This easy hack can tame all those sparse eyebrow hairs. Spray some hairspray on a spoolie brush and comb through your brows.

4. Coconut oil for makeup remover

Coconut oil is a great, all natural way to remove your makeup. It goes on so smoothly and it is gentle on your skin.

5. Baby powder for longer lashes

By dusting on a layer of baby powder, it gives your lashes extra length. By alternating from powder to mascara you can create perfect lashes.

6. Fast drying nails

After painting your nails, place them in a cold bowl of water to speed up the drying process.

7. Matte nail polish

Add a pinch of corn starch to your clear topcoat to get a matte finish.

8. Long live the mascara

When you think that your favorite mascara has seen its last days, think again! Add a few drops of saline to your mascara to bring it back to life.

9. Fix broken eye shadows / other powders

Fixing your broken powder is easy with this tip. Crush the remaining powder up, then add some rubbing alcohol. Finally, press the wet powder down and let it dry. Boom, good as new!

10. Fix oily hair

If you ever run out of dry shampoo just grab some baby powder. It is cheaper and it works just as well.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
