Finals are around the corner and The Met Gala 2016 has just passed. Celebrities from around the globe came together to celebrate the future. SUNY schools celebrate the future every day! This is The SUNY Schools as MET Gala 2016 dresses!!

SUNY Binghamton

Beyonce is a genius just like the students at SUNY Bing. Her dress is simple and attention drawing just as Bing students are.

SUNY Alfred State

Zoe Saldana rocked this peacock themed dress just like Alfred State students rock the agricultural studies and countryside!

SUNY Stonybrook

Poppy Delevigne'd dress is just as awkward and nerdy as the Students of Stonybrook. She is still brilliant!

SUNY Buffalo State

Buffalo State is known for its crime rates and student demographic. Just as Lady GaGa, Buffalo State is underrated and under-appreciated. Buffalo State has one of the best and most up-to-date special education programs out of all of the SUNY schools. Lady Gaga is best known for her eye-catching red carpet looks. What most people don't know is that she is incredibly talented!

SUNY New Paltz

Alicia-Vikander's dress defines the hipster of the SUNY schools.

SUNY Oneonta

Madonna's 2016 dress perfectly defines this very talented, yet very party crazed school. You need a good GPA to get into "stoneonta" but the students definitely know how to party!

SUNY Albany

SUNY Albany is most known for the prison-like buildings. Nicki Minaj's dress portray this to a T.

Suny College of Environmental Science and Forestry

Emma Watson's dress was made out of 100 percent recycled plastic!! This must be very exciting news for SUNY ESF!

Fashion Institute of Technology

Claire Danes' Social Media inspired light up dress is amazing everyone. This dress is new and one of a kind; So is FIT!!

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
