Over the past year, I've gained an obsessive appreciation for sunsets. Whether it's against the skyline, mountains, or water, there's something extravagant about a sunset. It only happens once a day, which makes it something to look forward to and to wait for. It's something to appreciate on a daily basis.
The array of colors—from pink to
orange to purple—exceeds the beauty of any ordinary blue sky. It's absolutely amazing that the sky can transform into those vibrant, expressive colors. It's simply breathtaking.
It reminds me that I offer only one perspective and live only one life in a vast world of others—other personalities, other lives, other adventures. A sunset makes me stop and think about the possibilities in a single lifetime.
Sunsets are quite the sight, and I recommend watching the sunset to anyone who has neglected seeing such beauty so far. Sunsets are my favorite, but don't even get me started on sunrises.
