Time to crack open those bird law textbooks, it's time to go back to school!

1. Rolling out of bed for the first day of classes like

Break flew by like it was all jacked up on fight milk.

2. Trying to find a parking spot on campus

Giphy

Gotta pay the troll toll to park inside this...car hole?

3. Seeing all the happy and nervous freshmen on campus

Giphy

Their excitement only drains the energy from those of us that are just trying to make it through another year.

4. Walking into a class full of said excited freshmen

Giphy

Watching freshmen take notes on everything during syllabus week brings back a sense of nostalgia but also annoyance. Please, put the color-coded pens away, it's the first day.

5. When the instructor has everyone do an introduction on the first day

Giphy

"I'm a senior, my major is crushing me, and I have no idea why I'm only just now taking this 100-level pre-req as a senior."

6. Seeing other seniors zombie-ing their way across campus

Giphy

There's something comforting about being able to stand in solidarity with other exhausted upperclassmen.

7. Finding a place to chill between classes like:

Giphy

I am just trying to find a place where I can eat my questionable leftovers between classes in PEACE!

8. When someone on campus asks what your plans are after graduation

Giphy

Please don't ask me about my future I am so stressed out.

9. When people ask how you're working full time and taking a full credit load

Giphy

Not sleeping also helps.

10. Going home after the first day of classes

Giphy

Yes, getting back into a school routine is nice but also the thought of another semester of stress is going to take some getting used too

11. When you realize you've got two semesters left before you have to start paying off your loans

Giphy

The future is LOOMING OVER ME

12. Helping your friends cope with the same stress on top of senioritis

Giphy

Rum ham perhaps?

13. Deciding to make the most of your last year of college

Giphy

To all the seniors reading this: don't stress too much this year and just have fun, ya jabroni!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
