"Sun Records" Review
CMT

If you're not watching CMT's "Sun Records" yet, you should be.

Ever heard of the "Million Dollar Quartet?" If not by that name, you're guaranteed to have heard of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. Well, this show pays homage to their beginnings at Sun Records working with the legendary Sam Phillips.

The massive ensemble cast is lead by Chad Michael Murray as producer Sam Phillips, still in the beginnings of his career. He is joined by a ton of talented actors and actresses, including Drake Milligan, reprising his role from 2014's "Nobody" as a young Elvis Presley. Milligan is killing it, by the way. Quite frankly, everyone is. It's a phenomenal cast.

"Sun Records" is a fantastic nostalgia trip for those who were alive for the rise of Sun Records and a fun history lesson for those who weren't. The cast is super responsive on social media, so don't be afraid to shoot them a message of support or a question; they'll love it!

You can watch a trailer for "Sun Records" below and watch the first two episodes online here. Catch new episodes every Thursday at 10 pm on CMT and Nick at Nite!

Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair.
