1. Lime Floes

If you're a fan of key lime pie, you will love these! These lime popsicles from Trader Joe's are light, and taste just like a slice of key lime pie! This refreshing snack is a great alternative to the usual, fruity popsicles.

2. Perfect Bars

I was hesitant to try these refrigerated protein bars myself, but they turned out to be delicious! There's nothing like coming home to a cold Perfect Bar after a long day outside or a sweaty workout. They come in a variety of flavors including, coconut peanut butter, mocha chip, and my favorite, dark chocolate chip peanut butter. Whether you're on the go or tired of cooking, these protein bars are filling and tasty- perfect for a summertime snack!

3. Plantain Chips

This classic snack is great to bring with you to the pool or on your travels. I love Trader Joe's Sweet Plantain Chips because they're not too salty and come in smaller, portable bags. These plantains are the perfect snack for a day at the beach!

4. Pastry Pups

After a long, tiring summer day, I love coming home to warm Pastry Pups- fresh out of the oven! They're easy to make and filling- like pigs in a blanket! Trader Joe's version of this classic finger food includes parmesan and seasonings sprinkled on top. You absolutely have to try this doughy, protein filled snack!

5. Trader Joe's Raspberry and Cream Bars

These popsicles are sweet and fruity- the perfect summertime combination! The portion sizes are small, so they're great to bring to the pool, and won't take so long to eat that they melt in your hand! I love enjoying these mini popsicles when I'm in the mood for a small and sweet snack.

Summer can be a long, hot season- which calls for some refreshing new snacks! Pick up these delicious snacks while shopping at your local Trader Joe's or on Amazon. Whether you're having a sweet tooth or looking for a more protein-heavy side dish, you'll definitely find yourself hooked on one of these products from Trader Joe's.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
