Summer is one of the most magical things to ever happen to any student. I live for summer break. Another thing I live for is "The Office." During my last semester of high school I spent most of my time watching "The Office" in my classes. So, I decided to let the characters of the show tell you a little about summer.
1. The first day of summer.
We all know the amazing feeling that comes along when school is let out for the summer.
2. When you see people from school.
Seeing people from school over the summer is super awkward so when you actually do see them in public you do everything in your power to hide and get away from them.
3. Making plans.
Although you miss seeing your friends, you always fall into a slump of laying on your couch and binge watching TV shows on Netflix and you really would rather not move.
4. Your summer appetite.
I'm not sure what it is about summer, but it seems like you're constantly hungry so you literally cannot stop eating and you don't even care.
5. Laying out and trying to get tan, but burning yourself to a crisp instead.
All anyone wants is to have that perfect summer tan. We think that by laying out for an hour without sunscreen will do the trick but all it does is turn you into a lobster. 10/10 would not recommend... ever.
6. Seeing your friends after a long time.
After we get out of our binge watching Netflix slump and finally accept or make plans, it's super exciting to see your friends.
7. When there is absolutely nothing to do.
Not everyday is going to be exciting but there are some days that are more boring than others. Like the days when you've finished the show you were watching and can't find another one. Or when it's raining and you can't do anything outside.
8. The last day of summer.
The last day of summer is always the worst. It's the last day of freedom and you want to have as much fun as possible because going back to school the next day is going to be horrible. It has finally sank in that you can no longer lounge around the pool all day or binge watch a TV show on Netflix for 12 hours straight.
I'm not superstitious, but... I'm a little-stitious. -Michael Scott
