With summer 2016 quickly coming to an end, and school creeping up on us, all we have is the memories of the amazing movies we saw or should’ve seen. We may regret a lot of bad decisions we made this summer, but watching movies is not part of that list.
1. War Dogs
Ofcourse we all love Jonah Hill and Milles Teller, but I promise you will love them even more after this movie. Teller and Hill play two best friends who become international arms dealer. Sounds interesting, eh? Well it’s based on a true story but they bring lots of laughs in to this story.
2. Suicide Squad
With the multiple mixed reviews this film received, I must say it was still a great one. Margot Robbie definitely takes the crown for this one, although I can not say the same about some of her co-stars like Jared Leto who played the joker. This was a great film to introduce the audience to the new squad and prepare us for the films to come. I walked in with zero expections and walked out content.
3. Jason Bourne
Matt. Damon. Is. Back. As. Bourne.
Let’s all agree that Matt Damon doesn’t ever disappoint as Jason Bourne.
4. Ghostbusters
This film was also the target of many mixed ratings and reviews. But the all female cast, with quirky skills made it a must see this summer. They really brought to life this remake.
5. Finding Dory
Probably one of the cutest films released this entire year. I must say I was not one who was excited about it, but I left the theatre with tears in my eyes. Finding Dory was full of cuteness overload and the film targeted all ages.
6. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
This is an unapologetic hilarious film. From beginning to end you will probably be laughing. The film stars Zac Efron, Adam DeVine, Anna Kendrick, and Aubrey Plaza do a great job at keeping the viewers excited.
