The 3 Most Anticipated Summer Movie Releases Of 2016
Huffington Post

There are many movies in the past few years that I either did not like, or I found their trailers too boring to even waste time on watching the actual movie. I wouldn't consider myself a movie snob. I am just like everyone else when it comes to knowing what kind of movies I enjoy. I don't have a specific genre of movies I prefer, because I can watch almost anything. So, even though I am were cautious when it comes to going to the movie theater and paying $12 for a movie ticket, I am going to agree right now to go see three movies this summer. These movies can be of any genre and I am allowed to decide which ones I am going to see. I will start by watching the trailers now and give my thoughts on them. Then, I will write a piece later on each movie stating my opinion and if you should go see them.

1. "Me Before You"

This movie is a drama about a girl who is hired to take care of a "recently-paralyzed" man. I saw the trailer a few months ago and immediately bought the book. I was very intrigued in how the author would end it, so I finished it in about four-five hours. While watching the trailer, my eyes immediately take in the setting. The places the plot takes place in are beautiful. It may be a weird thing to notice, but I think it helps sell the story. I believe the overall plot is very sad and really captures the audience because you know there are only a few ways this story will go. I will be very interested to see how well the movie sets the story compared to the book.

2. "The Conjuring 2"

OK, so I have seen the first movie and I really liked it. I love scary movies and a lot of scary movies are coming out this summer. This is only one of the few that I really want to see. The coolest part about this movie is their ability to continue with the same cast. I believe it is awesome when they can get the original cast to stay involved and make more stories. There is also something super exciting about watching horror films in the theater. It is better than watching them at home. The thing that keeps me on edge during horror films is the scoring of the movie. If I jump or scream a lot in the theater, then I know they scored the movie well. It seems very strange, but I've watched scary movies before that did not scare me and I believe it is because of the music. I hope I leave this movie terrified, but we shall see.

3. "Finding Dory"

This is the movie I am most looking forward to seeing. I have watched "Finding Nemo" so many times throughout my childhood, that it is ridiculous. I remember going to the theater and watching it with my Mimi. I think it is only right that I go see "Finding Dory" in the theater. After watching the trailer, I can honestly say I am so excited! I cannot wait to see if Dory finds her family. My biggest fear with this movie is that it will not be as great as the first one.

Now that I have chosen three movies that I am going to see, make sure you check back to see my individual reviews on each movie. I'll let you know what I liked, what I didn't like, and whether or not you should spend $12 to go see it! Stay tuned!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
