These summer foods are what I imagine each Zodiac would represent. These aren't each zodiac's favorite foods, because I'm not a mind reader. It's just what I think each zodiac would be if they were a summer food. Bon Appetit!

Aries: Ice Cream

It's not the same as an ice cream sandwich. Ice cream is typically underestimated, but when it’s 90 degrees out and you’d kill for anything to cool you down, where do you go? The ice cream shop!!!! They trump all desserts in the summer and leave you feeling refreshed. The flavors are also always rich and will never let you down. Very dependable.

Taurus: Grilled Chicken

Ol’ reliable. Chicken never disappoints you, as long as you know how to cook it right. It does not take much for a chicken to turn dry, but that only happens with under-experienced cooks and neglect. Everyone loves chicken and it will never let you down. There are so many ways to cook it.

Gemini: Pineapple

Pineapples are sometimes sweet, sometimes sour, it’s pretty much a guessing game. Sound familiar? Sometimes they also leave sores in your mouth from being too acidic. But pretty much everyone loves them anyway and they go great with everything...even pizza.

Cancer: Ice Cream Sandwich

They're not always healthy for you, but they're great to have once in a while. They're sweet and great for when you’re emotional and need a pick-me-up. Sometimes the ice cream can hurt your teeth, but you still dive in teeth first anyway.

Leo: Honey-Barbecue Ribs or Caprese Salad

Leos want and enjoy the best of everything, so having a family to-die-for recipe for honey barbecue ribs or an elegant Caprese salad will be sure to please every crowd.

Virgo: Grapes

Much like the pineapple, grapes are unpredictable at first glance. They can either be sweet and delicious, or sour and unpleasant, but it is a guessing game trying to find good grapes. Sometimes a grape may appear sour by its outside, say the color green versus red or purple, but it may reveal a very sweet and pleasant flavor on the inside.

Libra: Watermelon

Libras are passive and search to find peace in every situation. Watermelon is sweet and not too strong in flavor. Its bright color brings warmth and happiness wherever it goes and makes people happy. Plus, everyone loves watermelon.

Scorpio: S'mores

Scorpios love bringing family together, and that’s precisely what s’mores do. S’mores bring people together for good times and deep conversations by the fire to celebrate what’s most important in life- family and friends.

Sagittarius: State Fair Food

Sagittarius love trying new things, and what better place to try weird and exotic things than at a state fair! You can get anything from a tricked out corndog, to some bugs on a stick, and everything in between.

Capricorn: Blackberries

As one of the more sophisticated-looking fruits, blackberries are perfectly proportional and aesthetically pleasing, something Capricorns love. Blackberries are sweet and sour at the same time, and can be a great addition to any fruit, yogurt, cereal, or salad.

Aquarius: Steak

Steak. You have to make sure it’s cooked all the way through, otherwise, it doesn’t taste right and can even be dangerous. It goes great with other sides but is equally as great by itself. It does not take an acquired taste to enjoy steak, but there are always people who prefer not to try it.

Pisces: Little Hugs Fruit Barrel Juices

Little Hugs. Literal summertime. If just the name of the drink doesn’t take you back and make you feel all warm and cozy inside, who even are you? These drinks were every 90s kid’s summertime dream, especially at birthday parties. These drinks make you feel safe and protected by your childhood, and allow you to remember a simpler life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
