4 Reasons You Should Be Taking Summer Classes

Some people may say that summer classes are stupid and annoying. You know what? They are right. However, summer classes are great at the same time.

1. Summer classes are so helpful.

College is expensive so if you can get all of your classes done early, why wouldn’t you want that? Summer classes are great at helping you get ahead in school…and ahead in life.

2. Get done early.

If you finish college early, then you can get out into the real world. Having a real job will allow you to start paying off those pesky student loans. But, hopefully you can finish early enough that they won’t be too bad.

3. Shorter.

Actually, summer classes are not that bad at all. You get a full 15 week class done in just 5-8 weeks. Who wouldn’t love that? If you just take one summer class, you still have a lot of time to spend at the beach.

4. Relaxing.

If you take online classes though, you can do the work for it on the beach or laying by the pool! You literally can do your assignments anywhere and enjoy yourself. Getting a tan and getting work done, whats better than that?

By taking summer classes, you are able to have fun and get your work done too. Especially online classes. People may think that with summer classes you do not get to enjoy your summer…not true. Plus, summer classes are usually smaller so you get to have more one-on-one attention with your professor. Have a great summer and a great college transcript by taking summer classes!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
