Summer vacation during high school was pretty cool, but summer vacation as a college student is a whole new ballgame. It's a time to unleash all of that stress that has accumulated over the months and regain your energy. Unless you're taking summer classes, you can finally void your mind of those useless formulas and due dates and make room for some unforgettable memories.
Walking out of school after final's week like:
Hopefully you passed all of your exams.
No more late-night study sessions. You can finally get a full night of sleep. Turn off that alarm set for classes and catch some much needed Zzz's.
Sweet dreams -- those nightmares of upcoming class presentations and exams are now things of the past.
Nothing prepares you more for a home cooked meal than a diet of Ramen noodles, cereal and hot pockets. Enjoy that delicious home cooking that you took for granted as a child.
Wipe away those tears -- they'll make your food salty.
Reunited and it feels so good. You're as happy to see your pets as they are to see you.
Although they, too, wanted to enjoy college life with you, I'm sure there are no hard feelings.
For many of us it's back to our original room/house mates, our siblings. You must remind them of the concepts of privacy and ownership.
Could you like, knock before you enter my room?
You can crank up some tunes and rock out without the fear of anyone judging you by your unusual taste in music.
So what if I like to listen to songs remixed to the voices of Alvin and the Chipmunks?
Experience the party life. There are so many fun things to do over summer. Stay safe and party on.
"Now watch me whip"--- I've had enough of this song, haven't you?
You must catch up with old friends about what's been going on around town while you were away at school.
"Girl, guess what..." Listen closely, you know it's about to get good.
Then head out with your friends and grab some nice cold beverages to help you cool down in the summer heat.
"Hello, can I get uh... (five decades later) large strawberry slushy."
Or go for a refreshing swim to beat the heat.
Don't forget to put on some handy dandy sunblock before jumping in.
Now that you have more time to spare, you can find an awesome summer job or pick up more hours at the one you currently have.
Money, money, money and more money.
Or use your free time toward the pursuit of a summer romance.
That girl you've had a crush on for years is now single -- go for it.
Summer selfies are a must. Head over to those scenic places and snap until you run out of poses.
"I don't like that picture, take another one!"
Did someone say road trip? Road-trips are always fun to go on, especially if you're surrounded by enjoyable people and in a comfortable vehicle.
"Are we there yet?"
No matter what you decide to do this summer, I'm sure your time away from school was very appreciated. Get out and make some memories before the start of your fall semester.
"Why are you still recording? I have no more to say."
