Summer Break As Told By The "Gossip Girl" Crew

During summer break, a lot of things happen. You go on vacation, some people go abroad, some work all summer and some just sleep the days away. We wish for summer break during the school year, but start wishing to get back to campus when our summers get boring.

"Gossip Girl" definitely fits the drama of summer: the romances, the heartbreak, the sadness, and the happiness. The Upper Eastsiders definitely enjoyed summer, with all of them having different experiences. Whether it was the Hamptons or NYC, they made sure their summer was worthwhile. Here is summer break as told by the "Gossip Girl" cast:

1. How you feel on the last day of class/last exam before summer break:

2. Telling your friends "bye" as they go on adventurous vacations:

3. When everyone is on vacation and you are stuck at home:

Or, instead of champagne, Netflix.

4. When someone mentions school in July:

5. When you get into the mid-summer slump with nothing to do:

6. When someone complains about how boring summer has been when you have been working every day:

7. "I don't like going to the beach for vacation."

8. When you go out in public during the day, hoping to see no one you know:

9. Versus when you go out at night:

10. When you leave for VACATION:

11. When you are on vacation time:

12. When you get back from vacation:

Tan skin, beach hair and lots of rest can change you.

13. When reality sets back in after vacation:

Work or boredom, you choose

14. When someone finally asks you to do something after you have been stuck working/sleeping for a week:

15. When you see pictures of people's fabulous vacations:

16. When someones tries to cancel plans on you:

17. When someone asks how your summer of working or summer school has been:

18. And if you are an Odyssey writer, you probably have caught yourself saying this:

19. And finally, when August rolls around and you are ready to get back to your friends and campus:

Enjoy the rest of your summer.

-xoxo, Gossip Girl

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
