With three full months of summer break, you have a lot of time on your hands, but your summer does not have to be boring! There are plenty of ways to spend your summer and to make the most out of your free time. Here are 5 wholesome ways to spend your summer!

1. Summer Classes 

If you are looking to take classes to complete your minor or major, summer classes are a great way to get required courses out of the way. Typically, summer classes are easier and less demanding, and will lessen your course load during the academic school year!

2. Internship

Internships are are a valuable way to spend your summer. Getting professional experience in a field that you are interested in is a great way to build up your resume and to discover what you are looking for in a future career.

3. Spend time with family and friends 

Three full months of summer break allows you to spend time with your family and friends you might not see during the school year.

4. Read

Although you may not have required summer reading anymore, summer is a great time to catch up on your reading. Find books that interest!

5. Work on your health 

Summer is a great time to take a break from all the chaos and focus on yourself! Working on both your mental and physical health is extremely important. Spend time working out, meditating, or make time in the day for your "me time."
